Argan kernel oil (Argania spinosa) comes from the nuts of the argan tree, which grows only in southwestern Morocco. Women there have been using the oil for its healing and age-defying effects for centuries. But argan is a bigger part of these women’s lives than just a beauty remedy. It is the women of the Berber culture from this region who traditionally, and exclusively, produce the argan oil which is then exported to other countries.
