3. What is lavera’s Ingredient Commitment?

Lavera fully discloses all ingredients on each product and sample. It is approved by the BDIH foundation in Germany to comply with the strictest standards in the natural skin care industry.

    lavera and LAVERE products are:
  • Designed for sensitive skin
  • Pure, organic plant oils
  • Organic herb and flower extracts
  • Free from parabens and synthetic presevatives
  • Free from fragrances, emulsifiers and petroleum ingredients such as Mineral Oils
  • Free from irritating detergents e.g. Sodium Lauroyl Sulfate

4. How are lavera products preserved?

lavera products are free from any synthetic preservatives and instead are preserved through a system of factors:

  • careful selection of purest raw ingredients, essential oils, vitamins, a residual percentage of grain alcohol
  • production in special clean rooms with airtight equipment
  • packaging design that helps to preserve the products e.g. use of tubes for skin care instead of jars.

Every batch is tested for stability and is good for up to almost 3 years.

5. What is the difference between the Basis sensitiv and the Neutral skincare lines?

Basis sensitiv products do contain essential oils, plant and flower extracts from certified organic farming which provide balancing and healing properties. However, sometimes essential oils cause breakouts on extremely sensitive skin.

In Neutral, there are no flower or herbal extracts or essential oils used. It is fragrance free and recommended for highly sensitive skin.
