This product is rated to block 95% of all UVB rays
This is the new Euro-spec formulation to meet the 2009 EU SPF Regulation changes. This is the original SPF 30 lotion reformulated with a blend of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in order to provide the higher UVA protection. Given that the EU rules require UVA be 1/3rd of the total SPF, the SPF 6.7 UVA rating results in an overall SPF of 20 for the product, even though the UVB rating is significantly higher.
There is NO BETTER all-natural, mineral based protection available - good UVA protection, excellent UVB protection, and remember that only mineral based sunscreen effectively protects against UVC rays.
NOTE that zinc is micronized, with a small percentage being <100nm, but is coated in stearic acid to render it inert and hence harmless in the body
