When the cosmetics industry was still taking different paths and Natural Beauty had little presence in the market, Thomas Haase followed his conviction: Effective cosmetics require no compromises – nature provides everything our skin needs. What he couldn’t find in stores, he simply made himself. In 1987, he founded lavera.

Only 32 years after its founding, lavera was named Brand of the Century – as a synonym for Natural Beauty and thus our natural care system. What a journey!
