We go through long and extensive testing processes with every single product to provide you with transparency and security through a range of labels, so you know exactly what you are buying. All products are certified Natural Beauty according to NATRUE or ECOCERT COSMOS ORGANIC.

From the first idea to the finished product – your lavera Natural Beauty is created entirely in the Hannover region of Germany. At our three locations, we research, develop, and produce with passion and short distances. Everything from a single source, family-run since 1987.

In our in-house development laboratory, products are created
that meet high dermatological standards. Through continuous research, we perfect our natural care formulas – for maximum effectiveness with the best compatibility and, of course, completely free from synthetic fragrances, colorants, and preservatives.

Animal welfare has been close to our hearts from the very beginning. The majority of our range carries The Vegan Society’s Vegan trademark and is completely free from animal-derived ingredients. Our consistent commitment against animal testing has also been recognised by PETA – since 2020, you can find us on its positive list of cosmetics.

Through our lavera tree-planting and nature conservation projects, we are actively committed to reforestation and the protection of European forests. By supporting environmental education, funding research and organising hands-on activities, we are helping to shape a future in which generations to come can experience nature just as we do.
