Microsilver is a special form of pure silver with an enlarged surface area. Its antimicrobial profile is comparable to that of nanosilver. This highly porous silver has a particle size of about 10 µm. Due to their size, these silver particles do not penetrate the skin and are therefore ideal for application on specific skin areas.
