What we do, we do right. We consistently and long-term invest in basic research and in the development of our own processes. It is no wonder, then, that we succeed time and again in discovering unique new natural active ingredients and making them usable for Natural Beauty.
In order to use ingredients that meet our high quality standards, we now produce over 300 extracts and active ingredient compositions ourselves at our site in Hanover. We are proud of this and make no secret of it.
Milestones in the development of Natural Beauty
You can jump on a trend, or you can start one yourself. Time and again, we have developed innovative natural cosmetic products, such as our mineral sunscreen, which we launched as early as 1990 – later even as a spray. Avoiding chemical substances in sunscreen not only protects the skin but also complies with the Hawaiian reef law (“reef friendly”). Soon after came the next innovation: a natural self-tanner, with which we wrote another chapter in the history of natural cosmetics.
Pure nature – nothing else
We have probably said it before: We are convinced that Natural Beauty is the better beauty. Simply because in our over 30 years of pioneering work, we have harnessed many of nature’s most effective powers for our skin and hair.
But there is another reason why Natural Beauty is the better choice: the avoidance of certain ingredients such as purely synthetic fragrances and preservatives (according to EU Cosmetics Regulation).
