Know exactly what’s inside

In an increasingly complex world, orientation is especially important. Clearly defined and independent labels on the packaging make decisions easier for all of us and create certainty. For example, that 100% of our products are certified Natural Beauty. We go through long and elaborate certification processes with each individual product to ultimately provide our customers with transparency and security through a range of labels, showing exactly what they are buying.

We ensure binding standards

As a founding member of the international association NATRUE, we actively work to protect Natural Beauty and organic cosmetics and to defend the NATRUE Standard as the established definition for Natural Beauty. lavera is 100% certified Natural Beauty. Since 2009, most of our products have been certified according to the NATRUE Standard, making us one of the first brands to do so. The exception is our hair care line, which is certified according to the Ecocert-COSMOS organic Standard.

Everything revolves around plants with us

Since 1945, the Vegan Society from the United Kingdom has been awarding its well-known Vegan label. It has adorned our products since May 2004 and has now conquered a large part of our entire range. It indicates that no animal ingredients, but rather renewable plant-based raw materials, have been used.

Quality comes first

For us at lavera, it was clear from the very beginning that we would make no compromises on the quality of our Natural Beauty. That is why we are firmly committed to nature and the use of natural ingredients, preferably from certified organic farming. Our organic logo stands for over 300 plant-based ingredients, plant fluids, and organic plant complexes, most of which we produce ourselves.

Natural Beauty without silicones

For our innovative hair care, we have developed an innovative active formula from nature that allows molecules to dock onto surface damage of the hair, smooth it, and leave a silky hair feel – completely without silicones. At the same time, the respective active formula ensures a healthy scalp, as the foundation for healthy hair.

Good news for everyone who suffers from gluten intolerance

In our lip care products, we deliberately avoid ingredients that contain the problematic adhesive protein gluten. This way, lavera Natural Beauty can be used safely even with gluten intolerance.

Green through and through

The Green Brand European Warranty Award really goes deep. In a three-stage external audit process, every step of the value chain is evaluated—from raw material sourcing through suppliers, transportation routes, research and development, manufacturing, packaging, all distribution levels, disposal of empty packaging, to product design. Only when a brand consistently demonstrates exemplary sustainable work everywhere does Green Brand award the coveted seal. lavera has been GREEN BRAND since 2012, with lavera’s environmental performance rated an outstanding 90%.
