The brand lavera Natural Beauty has been honored with two product nominations. Laverana GmbH & Co. KG, a specialist in certified Natural Beauty, is a finalist for the German Sustainability Award (DNP) 2026. This places the company among the TOP 3 most sustainable companies in the body care sector in Germany.
Particularly remarkable: lavera Natural Beauty was also nominated with two product innovations in the categories "New Natural Beauty/NATURE" and "New Natural Beauty/Resources." The renowned expert jury once again recognizes Laverana's pioneering role in the sustainable transformation of the cosmetics industry. "We are very pleased that our commitment to sustainability and innovation is being recognized both as a company and with our products," says Sabine Kästner, company spokesperson and sustainability officer at Laverana. "Sustainability has been firmly embedded in our brand DNA since our founding. Our holistic solutions and sustainable investments are a lived reality and shape our daily actions. We consistently live up to this claim – from development to production of our products. For us, nature is the best foundation for modern, effective cosmetics. That is why we deliberately combine nature, science, and technology to create innovative Natural Beauty that unites the highest effectiveness and sustainability."
Two lavera product solutions nominated:
- New Natural Beauty/NATURE: The newly developed lavera Baby & Child care series was recognized for its particularly gentle and moisturizing care formula. The innovative water-in-oil emulsion with a mild emulsifier based on glycerin, sorbitol, and flaxseed oil protects and soothes sensitive baby skin – without any compromise on tolerability.
- New Natural Beauty/Resources: The lavera lip balm sets standards in sustainable packaging. The packaging of the Hauchzart, Repair, and basis sensitiv series is made entirely of mono-PP, enabling pure and high-quality recyclability. The packaging completely avoids new plastic – an important step towards reducing resource consumption and plastic waste.
Jury statement DNP 2026 Company: "The eco-pioneer Laverana harnesses the power of nature, focuses on the highest (organic) quality and as local sourcing as possible. The company uses 100% green electricity (20% self-generated) and consistently relies on recycled materials for packaging. Sustainability goals define the reduction of resource consumption in operations and products, and projects promote research, environmental education, and nature conservation."
