Hanover, 01.12.2020 - Since November 1, 2020, lavera Natural Beauty has been officially certified by the international animal protection organization PETA and is therefore listed in the PETA Positive List "Cosmetics without Animal Testing." lavera Natural Beauty has been committed to being cruelty-free since the company was founded in 1987 and has now decided to expand its animal welfare commitment through a cooperation with PETA.
Susann Vogel, Head of Communications lavera Natural Beauty:
“Through the cooperation with PETA, we now support three organizations that actively advocate for animal protection worldwide: the work of the international cosmetics association NATRUE, the German Animal Welfare Federation Foundation, and now also the international lobbying efforts of PETA. Through the cooperation with PETA, we want to give customers even more confidence and clearly emphasize once again that lavera products have been and will remain cruelty-free from the very beginning.”
Judith Schefzyk, PETA Germany e.V.:
“We are very pleased about the cooperation with lavera. Inclusion in the PETA Positive List requires a certification process that the company has successfully completed. Responsible consumers who reject animal testing can trust the certified natural beauty brand lavera Natural Beauty without hesitation and choose from around 280 products,” said Judith Schefzyk, Marketing Manager in the Cosmetics and Care Products division at PETA.
