Hanover, 10/11/2024 - In October, the finalists of the product competition at the 17th German Sustainability Award (DNP) were announced. In the transformation field NATURE, the jury honored the lavera Anti-UV Fluid SPF30 as a sustainable, pioneering care solution “Natural finish without white cast and titanium dioxide by Laverana GmbH & Co. KG.” The product innovation from the specialized Natural Beauty manufacturer is thus among the absolute frontrunners among Germany’s most sustainable innovators at Europe’s most important sustainability award.

With this sixth DNP award as a finalist, the consistent commitment of Laverana to environmentally friendly and innovative product solutions and the sustainable pioneering role of lavera Natural Beauty are once again recognized. For over three decades, the lavera Natural Beauty brand has stood for effective Natural Beauty and a sustainable lifestyle and has consistently been a pioneer in the certified Natural Beauty segment since its founding in 1987. Introducing innovations to the market and reshaping the cosmetics market are not an end in themselves for the Natural Beauty manufacturer from the Hanover region but are always guided by customer wishes, the latest scientific findings, and their own high standards of sustainability.

For 37 years, Laverana has been unlocking the secrets of nature’s effectiveness in its own research and development department and creating pioneering care solutions.

With the market launch of the Anti-UV Fluid SPF 30, lavera offers effective skin protection against harmful UVA/UVB rays and moisture care 365 days a year. The fluid ensures smooth skin and effectively prevents the first signs of sun-related skin aging, such as fine lines and pigmentation spots. The self-developed care formula meets the growing demand for protective skincare as part of the daily care routine and has been convincing worldwide since its launch: The mineral sun protection with zinc oxide forms an invisible protective film on the skin and does not stick or feel greasy.

The goal of lavera care is to make products not only effective and skin-friendly but also environmentally compatible. The natural ingredients are biodegradable according to EU cosmetics regulations and are vegan, NATRUE, and PETA certified. The product is sustainably packaged: the bottle (excluding the cap) is made from 20% recycled glass, and the carton material of the folding box is made from 100% recycled fibers (without color & additives). Ten cents from each product sold support the lavera forest project, in which lavera plants climate-friendly forests across Europe, preserves ecologically valuable areas, promotes environmental education, and supports research.
