AHA & BHA complex – Fruit acid peeling for pure and radiant skin
Individually strong, even more effective combined: Our complex of various Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and the Beta-Hydroxy Acid (BHA) salicylic acid creates smoother, more even, and radiant skin by working both on the skin's surface and within the pores. At the same time, this fruit acid peeling strengthens the skin barrier and provides moisture, optimally preparing the skin for subsequent care. Here you can learn more about the specific effects of the individual ingredients.

What are AHA and BHA and why are they combined in skincare?
A complex of AHA acid and BHA acid is a proven approach to gently exfoliate and simultaneously care for the skin. The combination of these acids works as an effective AHA-BHA peeling (so-called chemical peeling) to achieve an optimal balance between surface and deep cleansing:
– AHAs dissolve dead skin cells on the surface and promote cell renewal. They improve skin texture and provide more moisture as well as a more even, radiant complexion.
– BHA salicylic acid penetrates deeper into the pores, removes excess sebum, works anti-inflammatory, and is therefore ideal for skin prone to blemishes and acne.
Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAs or AH acids) are natural acids. Since they occur in various fruits, they are also called fruit acids. The complex we use contains lactic acid, citric acid, and tartaric acid. In cosmetics, AHAs are true multi-talents. Alpha-Hydroxy Acids can penetrate the upper skin layers and gently remove dead skin cells there as a natural AHA peeling. This promotes skin renewal.
Furthermore, they provide the skin with moisture. They can also help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven pigmentation, making the skin appear smoother and more radiant. Another "superpower" of Alpha-Hydroxy Acids is their ability to stimulate collagen synthesis, which can lead to firmer and more elastic skin.

Effective Fruit Acid Peeling – Beta-Hydroxy Acid (BHA) Salicylic Acid
This organic acid comes in the form of a very fine, white powder and is often used in cosmetic peelings because it works keratolytically and gently exfoliating. It is also called an exfoliant, which means that the ingredient can loosen loose skin flakes and thereby works skin-smoothing.

The goal: An improved complexion
Particularly oily and acne-prone skin benefits from a BHA peeling like salicylic acid, as it can penetrate deep into the pores, remove excess sebum, reduce inflammation, and help calm the skin and minimize redness. This way, AHAs and BHAs can naturally improve the complexion.
